Community colleges of Mecklenburg County include Southside Virginia Community College (a 2 year institution) which is easily accessible from all sections of Mecklenburg County and has two campuses, Christanna and John H. Daniel. Both offer technical, vocational, and liberal arts programs. Many programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of local industry.
